Not into it myself, but something tells me this wouldn't get the same level of criticism if it wasn't Pendulum.

Pendululm used to make killer drum&bass tunes, till they came up with Propane Nightmares.
They even made a drum&bass remix of Coldplay - Violet Hill

Pendulum does dubstep
I'm aware it doesn't sound like most dubstep, that's just what pendulum calls it.
Er

10/10 for correct usage of 'exemplary'.

Read on dogsonacid.. This was told on a festival while Skream & Goldie were hanging out:
Skream:
"Pendulum played a dubstep set and it was awful"
Goldie:
"Yeah, yeah, shit"
Ouch !

the wobble is decent, the beat is ok, the voice sample sucks (but it's their style, definitely). the tune itself is kinda linear (to boring), but it's not THAT bad.

Im not gonna hate on this track cus its Pendulum. In fact I like the drums a lot. There are a couple obnoxious little synths in there ...but honestly that would probably go off at a show..

I do occasionally hate on Pendulum for making lame over produced clownstep, and generally ruining jungle in the 21st century. However, as others have pointed out this actually sounds a lot better than a lot of Dubstep that makes it on to wax. It's well produced, and the drums are cool....

They are starting to lose a bit of respect considering what they are used to doing but it is getting a bit ridiculous.
