Anyone know what's happening with dubplate.net???

Post by whut » Wed Nov 05, 2008 1:48 pm

I spent a tidy amount of money on mp3s and their downloading system is fucked.

They also don't reply to emails or answer the phone.

So there's no hope of getting what I paid for?

Thanks to everyone that replied with useful information.

You'd think after all the threads , not just on this forum but others as well, that they'd get some sort of apology or reply sorted. They clearly don't give a toss.

I was just saying. It wasn't aimed at any one. I find it amusing how every week some one comes on here and pulls them up about some dodgy service and every week it happens again.

I'm off to Kings X to get some sex. Back soon.

It’s not entirely obvious but you have to go back to the front of their site once you’ve bough mp3s and there should be a ‘download cart’ from which you can grab em. I know this confused me initially.

Thanks for the help man. However, when downloading from this page you get an error message saying their is an error with the file. Right click 'save as' doesn't work.

i gotta say ive never had any real problems with dubplate, though i dont buy mp3s. they do sometimes take a while to answer my emails, but i usually receive my records next day.

the only time anything has gone wrong was 2wks ago i ordered the benga ep. it didnt turn up for 5 days, so i sent them an email, that evenin they sent one back sayin it must've got lost in the post and that they would send out a replacement. next day i had the ep.

yeah their mail order is second to none, chocs and star charts included for free... all good. my TRG white arrived straight away.

It just winds me up that they keep the 'buy mp3' buttons live on the site when they know full well that the system doesn't work.

Somebody, somewhere has made that decision knowing that new mp3 orders are gonna keep coming in when new people discover the scene.

Its simply dishonest.

Used them twice and had problems both times and found them very very unhelpful.

I told them I would take my business elsewhere and they were still quite rude.
Don’t worry about people stealing an idea. If it’s original, you will have to ram it down their throats.
