Thailand dubstep

Post by gabbo » Wed Nov 26, 2008 12:48 am

So... I'm going to thailand in a couple of days!

Just wandering if anyone has been there before and knows of any places that play some dubstep. I know there's only as small chance but i'm sure ill need my fix at some point.

Cheers

Club Culture has a Dubstep night, but it isn't regular and i've never been. However it is a good club and they have a variety of interesting electronic music nights. Club 808 is pretty good as well. Both have websites.

If your after a good after hours illegal venue ask the Taxi drivers to take you to the Tunnel. Nice soundsystem and entertaining punters.

Enjoy Bangkok. Ive lived here for six months and love it despite the lack of Dubstep. :D

Alright... Ill have to check them out.

Just got home from a long day of study and i find out the airport has closed down again though. Hopefully it all clears up by the 2nd dec otherwise im screwed. Whats the vibe like with all the protesters? The media here in Aus are making it out to be pretty hectic over there.

The airport is supposed to be open again on the 1st of december.
The protesters are nothing to worry about. Infact you won't even see them once they leave the airport. It's sounds pretty bad on the international news but most Thais couldn't give a shit. Don't worry.
