Is layering in sound forge possible?
I know it's not a multitrack program, but is there a way to layer sounds somehow?
would you rather read this or get busy making tunes?

To be a genius like burial!vadarfone wrote:Mix paste.
It is destructive though.
Out of interest, why are you wanting to do this?
What is mix paste? I have used Sound Forge for like 8 years I never knew you could do this. I assumed burial was full of shit. I could see making his tunes in Acid maybe. I dunno.

if memory serves you just drag one file onto another while holding shift or ctrl or alt (can't remember which one, i'm not at home at the moment)
there's also a way to do a gradiated mix where you basically fade from one sample to the other. this might also be covered by one of the key combinations above
