FIRST ORDER PROJECTIONS
Featuring animation and art by David Sananman
David Sananman is an artist living and working in New Jersey. He first studied at the Savannah College of Art and Design and then at Rutgers University - Mason Gross School of the Arts where he received his BFA in Visual Arts in 2002. The abstract biomorphic images that characterize his work are a continuous theme from his visual vocabulary built over time, explored through different media. In this series of animations, these shapes are staging points where utilizes the elements of shape, line, color, movement, sound, time, even the randomness that can occur while using these programs to create a meditative, colorful, elegant, playful experience. In addition to being a visual artist, he is a DJ and musician who has played and organized events in the New Jersey/New York area. His work has been exhibited in New York, New Jersey, and London.
