many of the under 18s are rising
but is it for alot of these kids all bout the hype and the cheesy samples?! a few youts i know never stop playing caspa and ruskos fabriclive 37, i aint herd them play any other dubstep! I heard some other youts on the bus behind me the other day on about how 'DJ Q is the founder of dubstep'!

im 17 and i am one of like 3 people within my whole college to like dubstep however i find this a gd thing. im happy fabric 37 doesnt get rinsed in the common room. Dubstep has taken over my life since i found it at a festival early this summer and i have never been more musically satisfied in maa liyfe ya get mee. downsides are - pendulum does get rinsed by nerdz along with stuff like i kissed a girl and liked it etc etc but thats where my ipod comes in handy. Best thing about it is coming home get on DSF and chill man. speaking of which anyone here catch subfm last nite. omg that xmas special was heavyy

i'm 28. when i was a younger i was listening to electro. stuff like aux 88, anthony rother, drexciya and dynamix II and some hiphop and a bit of detroit techno too. i still listen to all this music btw.

i think one of the biggest things for me wit dubstep is the i can hear where some of it draws its inspiration from, jungle, dub, techno etc... it makes for a richer music for me.

the "yout" of dubstep still may have not gotten to listen to as much music as some of us but hopefully they will.
i think it is going to be interesting to hear how the music that they do listen to now and in the future will influence dubstep in say 8 or 10 years time.

but how would you know about kids that like dubstep, it's not exactly as if they go to raves. because we can't.

i'm just 15 and i first heard dubstep in 2006. now its all i listen to. i know a few kids my age aswell who look way further than fabric live 37.

Surely its a good thing that younger people are starting to like dubstep aswel. Otherwise when all you oldies ears starts hurting, the scene would die.

I'm 17 and have enjoyed dubstep for two years now. I've also had sets supporting people like N-type, breakage, benny page etc.

Doesn't that mean I'm supporting, and not ruining the scene.
