Badman Press was established in the winter of 1999 as a collective of DJ's based out of Ottawa, Canada who shared a passion for bass laden breakbeats and abstract adventure. Now, almost 10 years later, Badman Press is entering the realms of dubstep/sub-low music in both vinyl and digital formats with the firm belief that we have something singular to offer.
Our Mission is to release dancefloor oriented artists and music to the forefront of the global dubstep/sub-low community through fresh, dynamic releases. We are in the beginning phase of said mission and have assembled a core roster of unique and exciting artists such as DZ, Threesixty, Dubsworth, Bombaman, Kozee, Bakir, RedEyz and High Deaf.
Our Vision is not only to establish a tradition of releasing quality, timeless dance tracks, but to push music that transcends genre cliches. We are extremely excited about the future of dance music and the artists who constantly push boundaries around the world.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Our vinyl release schedule is as follows:
BPM01 - DZ - Break It Down / How We Do
Vinyl Review: Ric Baker
----------------------------

Badman Press' debut release features the ever evolving DZ as he presents some of his most compelling bass work to date with the dance floor killers "Break It Down" and "How We Do". Fresh from a series of successful releases, DZ delivers again with grinding, gully bass lines and stripped down, driving beats. The A-side, "Break It Down" is an incredibly diverse track, fusing deep, talky basses and epic rave stabs with afro-tinged percussion and a hip-hop sensibility. With so many colors, "Break It Down" delivers on and off the dancefloor. On the B-side, DZ makes a strong personal statement with "How We Do". Amidst a storm of gully basslines and edgy percussion, this producer makes it clear as to what motivates him to do this thing: the desire to create honest and original music. And it's not about the money, it's about the music.

BPM02 - DZ - A.W.O.L. / Crack ft Kozee (early 2009)
BPM03 - Dubsworth - Not the One / Not the One [DZ rmx] (early 2009)
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
We are distributed in vinyl format through Nu-Urban Music (http://www.nu-urbanmusic.co.uk) and distributed digitally via InGrooves (http://www.ingrooves.com). Our mastering is done by Precise Mastering (http://www.precisemastering.com) in London, UK.

Your chests fam!!!
We have received some mails this morning with questions regarding Badman Digital, so to clarify:
"Badman Digital" is merely a sister-label to "Badman Press" with completely different releases. "Badman Press" is distributed by Nu-Urban Music in BOTH vinyl and digital formats, and "Badman Digital" is distributed by INgrooves.
Sorry for any confusion this may have caused.
