The Rope Tightens (Badawi rmx)

Post by the wiggle baron » Wed Jan 07, 2009 3:17 pm

Oh my jeeeeeeeeezzzzus!! :o :2: :2:
I only heard this for the first time today, and oh my God where have I been?!!!!! This has basically just instantly become the deepest tune I have EVER heard (will probably take that back at some point...but at the moment :o)

I literally just don't know what to say, its fucking mind blowing.
I guess there's always asking for any recommendations of things in a similar vein?

HUGE big ups to shackers, badawi and of course skull disco. This is actually amazing...

heard this in full at my friend's house last night, along with the rest of the skull disco remixes - heavy heavy stuff!! according to the rooted records site the remixes double pack is very limited, and i think i managed to snap up the last one they had, so get in quick people!

although the same friend who played me this last night told me that she thinks the one out now is only a promo, so the full release may be on the way still, can anyone confirm if this is correct?

not sure about this, i bagged it as soon a sit came out, was a little disappointed that they're wasn't any of the usual artwork on there. zeke's art was part of the whole skull disco thing for me, particularly because it was the last skull 12" too. then again i do like the tombstone picture discs

aye i was a little gutted it won't have any of the artwork, which i love, but if this was only the promo then the artwork is yet to come i guess...

the no-label marble pressing is how it is. no artwork, just the vinyl & generic sleave. it got "promo'd" and now its the "full" release. so pick it up if you can find it. i think redeye still has copies.

Got the vinyl and the CD release. This has to be heard on vinyl, low end rumble doesn't come close on the CD. Its so good.

think the 'limited' spiel on the 2x12" was bollocks...
