Dubstep dead in England?

dubstep in the uk is strong mate!

I don't live in the uk anymore but I think it's safe to say it is definatly not dying.

It's on the rise in the states that's for sure!

I can't speak for outside London.

But from the last weekend of October until the end of November we had a big rave going on every weekend.

Not to mention the smaller nights.

In December plenty of stuff again, like croydub etc.

Jan started of just now with DMZ, dubstep in Fabric room 2 (pinch, appleblim, hatcha, caspa+rusko, darqwan). On the same night Slaughta Mob, Heny g and chef at the end.

Next week is FWD>> v Rinse at the end.

Again not mentioning the smaller nights like FWD at plastic people.

More and more dnb nights are having dubstep in the second rooms (ram and hospitality at matter for example). Just check out the london events forum for all the smaller nights going on.

As for outside the UK, not been but big scene in Bristol and Nottingham for sure, spotted nice line ups in places like Oxford and Manchester also.

So the people are stupid

Really depends by what you mean as "dead". If by being "alive" you're talking about the number of nights, releases, new producers etc. then Dubstep is at its strongest every day imo!!

They're stupid.

Its by far from dead. Remember its still a fairly new scene worldwide, even though it spawned from these shores. Many people i ask have still not even heard of it or only heard a few bits like 'Where's my money' and 'Midnight Request.."

A sound this good could never die out that quickly, its only just beginning!
