Argentina striker Carlos Tevez says he and team-mate Javier Mascherano have agreed to sign for West Ham. The World Cup duo, who both play for
Corinthians in Brazil, are set to move to Upton Park on a year-long loan.
Tevez, 22, claims on his website he and Mascherano, 22, have signed
contracts with West Ham despite being linked with moves to Manchester United
and Arsenal. The Hammers are thought to have struck a deal with Media Sports
Investments, who own the rights to the two players.

Word from within.

Malbranque gave his word to AP that he would sign for WHU but when Spurs came in, he reneged on the deal. But the word is that he has failed the medical at the spuds and has come crawling back to us but AP has told him to ***k off as we are signing the 2 argies. But there is a downside to all this and it is either Yossi or NR-C will be leaving for Arsenal or Liverpool today.

All will be revealed later today

LMAO @ "21 year-old" Martins.

Mascherano and Tevez are being put in the shop window, clearly, but it's a coup for West Ham to get them for a season.

I'm holding out for the Cole/Gallas deal to go through...

i'm not counting martins as someone 'of note' until he bangs them away for us. ideally i was looking a 100% 20 goals a season man. and like you say martins is out.

and we confirmed that he is indeed 21 years old.

the mark viduka rumours make me feel sick.

nothing big happend today yet has there. is the west ham 100% confirmed?

obviously Martins isnt the worlds best striker, but i reckon he'll do well, and there arent that many guaranteed 20+ men knocking about

could just be a pr move by tevez 'agent to whip up interest, up fees, wages from other clubs. i'm highly suspicious about the hammers geting either or both of these players.

if you look at MSI, the company that owns the rights to the players, and their slightly dodgy relations to Chelsea, a move to a mid table premiership club makes sense - it gives chelsea a chance to see how they perform in the premiership and also stops the big clubs in Europe signing them, it could be just a conspiracy theory but i smell something fishy,

why would the brightest prospects in Argentinian football go to West Ham??

thats exactly what i'm on about. not sure i'm going in for your theory. it just seems a little too much. at the end of the day the players want to get as much cash as they can whilst playing for the best club they can. surely this is the primary rule which dictates any transfer...?

maybe theyre just putting the players in the shop window, im sure they'll get their paydays in 6 months, but if both of them go to chelsea next summer im gonna give up on football

oh and my theory isnt just mine
