There isn't a midi arp on there, but Reaper does allow people to draw in midi notes on a piano roll.

Creating an arpeggio wouldn't be hard at all.. Just choose your notes, draw in the appropriate note lengths, and drag the edge of the midi box to loop the notes you've just draw over and over!

There is no need for a keyboard or other controller with this pack. Although tedious, it's entirely possible to use the mouse curser only to do everything! :)

This is perfect for producers of all levels! ;)

Whether your on the move, don't have access to a regular pc or don't want to search through the millions of programs, this pack has it all!!!

------------------

In my opinion, the software included in this pack pars with FL Studio and Reason. I believe an entire album could be produced using only the contents of this pack. (I've a good mind to prove it too!) :)

------------------

For instance, the two synths included have amazing scope for sound generation.

One is a VA subtractive synth that produces all your standard analogue warmth sounds. The other provide more interesting synthesis types, easy modulation and a very very flexible architecture! 8)

Download it and see for yourself!

I've had a lot of difficulty finding a simple freeware sampler tbh.

My criteria whilst searching were:

-Plain graphics with clearly laid out controls.
-Easy to use.

The drum sampler included in this pack is more MPC style than Redrum.

Check out the developers page here ---> http://17hex.net/?page_id=123

Alternatively, try

DS2 ---> http://www.kvraudio.com/get/1480.html

Tatapoum ---> http://www.kvraudio.com/get/1910.html

I chose to Arachnid over DS2 for this pack because DS2's outputs need to be routed whereas Arachnid just works 'out of the box'.

DS2 was the closest freeware drum sampler I could find which resembled Redrum.

Tatapoum, whilst clearly more versetile than the other two drum samplers, gave me problems with play back....

You may also want to consider Poise. Although not free, it is both cheap and simple to utilise. What's more, the fairly utilitarian GUI can be reskinned with several nicer looking skins available to download. ---> http://www.anothersmallclue.com/poise.php

Hope that helps! :)
