new to funky, dirty stuff!

today i was listening to a silencer show on the rinse podcast. i thought the funky tunes were sick, one had like a real dirty distorted bassline, it wasn't really like any of the other tunes although they were good.

So is there much funky thats more dirty and distorted than the other stuff, or is it rare?
