Post by victim » Thu Jan 29, 2009 10:32 am

ez
dunno if its just me or this has come up before but has anyone noticed an anoying crackle over all the tunes on the zomby ep on HD?

I have tried 4 different stylus and compared it to other tunes of the same vein. I don't think its the tracks either...

thoughts?

maybe its IN THE TRACK....

like fully arty burial/deadbeat/rhythmNsound crackle??

have you tried listening to the 'previews' of the track on boomkat, digital-tunes etc to see if the crackle is still there?? (my assumption here is that there originate from the digital versions of the tracks PRE the vinyl pressing process....)

^^
i think its in the press tbh. I have heard this before over the years and compared them to other pressings of the same release. Good idea on the digital reference. Finally got around to really listening to it and yeah dont think its a burialesque crackle..

yeah i think what powerpill failed to understand is that here in Australia we generally buy our vinyl from online stores so you can just go and visit them.

Also the original post was more about trying to determine whether the record was faulty or not.
