2nd II None - Custard Pie

Post by Sarrisun » Thu Jan 29, 2009 3:26 pm

Anyone bought this?

Mine has got a skip on it just after the drop.

I noticed there is a skip on chemical record's audio aswell, so maybe they have sent me the same vinyl they used to record with or all of them have skips on?

There doesn't seem to be any dirt or anything on the record...

mine as well, happens once near the start and once again after the second drop. Its hard to hear the actual click of the jump though - at first i thought it may be some crazy timing issue, but i doubt that hugely. Its a great track but the mastering sounds a bit crappy (which has probably lead to the jump in the track)

EZ peeps,

I was pissed off too, I wasnt even sent a TP to check what the quality was like. I dont have a 12" of it either but I have been told there is a skip on it - tell ya- whats the fucking point sometimes.

To be honest it was out of my hands, but it wont be happening again.

If I was you lot, just send it back to outlet.

The mastering is fucked too, all reverbed and airy??? - if anyone wants an MP3 hit me on AIM - second2none@tiscali.co.uk

Appologies once again.

Will have some bits for those who hit me on AIM as a thank you.

Peace

There is a good lesson for labels right there - SEND ARTISTS TEST PRESSES TO CHECK BEFORE GOING AHEAD AND PRESSING UP A FAULTY RUN OF 12'S.

have checked a load of these, and asked the distro to do the same - no skips.

So if you have a dodgy one, return it to the shop where you bought it and it can & should be replaced. :4:
