Live electronic project between Vibesquad and Ooah from the Glitch Mob. Pretty cool shit..Aaron plays some ethnic instruments and keys and Ooah spins.

Also check return of the pudding people & music to make dance moves:the worm. Very ambitious first releases... I was a little dissapointed w/ dawn patrol myself... felt a little generic. Aaron Holstein is THE MAN though! Much vibesquad love!

I dunno man I can't keep Dawn Patrol out of my cd player. Got all of it though, like all of it. I feel like Dawn Patrol is a little weirder, and I kinda like that. Maybe not quite as gritty as Bass Love though.

some really nice fat sounds, just been checking it out just now. Calls himself to be in the 'IDM' genre. Sounds like he should listen to dave tipper :P
it does show however that americans can do the wobble though :)

Yeah Vibesquad is cool... I like the sound him and tipper seem to have pioneered. But theres other artists who I rekcon are pulling it off better (less "cheesy") now. Check out Eprom

Both Aaron - Vibesquad and Jamie Janover were part of the jam band Zilla, which some folks will know as an offshoot of String Cheese Incident, Jamie (on drums), Aaron (Synthisizers and laptop) and Ooah (laptop and occasionally turntablism) formed Sporque and toured doing it for a short while often at the same shows that Zilla played, this was before Glitch Mob totally blew up and Vibesquad had his own touring to do more of.
They are some of the main influences for a whole lot of jam band scene folks coming over to the Bass and glitches, (along with Bassnectar and also STS9 who had Richard Devine work with them)

I have not seen a Sporque show listed anywhere for a long time, but see Vibesquad, Jamie & Lynx and then Ooah separately on tour a lot, so I' not sure of Sporque is even officially around anymore.

Tipper = pioneer
Vibesquad makes dope beats but really just started getting into electronic breaks, glitch and dubstep 3 years ago.
