WAR001, 002, 003, 004 and 005 all mint on ebay now

Hello, sorry if here's not the right place to post this... times are hard, weed is expensive and the kids want High School Musical on everything, which trebles the price.

So please take pity on a hopeless sinner and buy my spare stash of unplayed, mint WAR white labels. Quick, before I change my mind! Thanks folks. Auctions end Sunday nite: http://shop.ebay.co.uk/merchant/wom_biddum_biddum

Thanks for your interest in these... they end today. And to everyone who's asked, sorry, I won't end the auction early just for you!
Cheers all.

Wow almost 50 pounds on 001 and still two hours left! Cheers on the come up!

On the downside, lotsa ways to get 50 pounds... only a few ways to get some sick white labels!

do you think i should give it away for the love of music? what do you think is the right way to do things in this circumstance?

i don't feel great about it, but its a complicated question isn't it? truth be told i probably hadn't thought about it thoroughly enough til you raised it cos i just slightly deliriously spent 100 on new tunes so am feeling to balance it out a bit

I sometimes sell records to raise some cash, but the most I've ever charged is £15 for an unplayed copy of Hud Mo's "Oops". I just couldnt charge £50 for a twelve as love vinyl and dont think its doing the format much good when people are buying multiple copies of limited pressings, just to make money. The worst case recently was the Skream remix of La Roux. People were coming on Discogs having never used the site before to sell a copy for £100. Fair enough double the price,I mean theres not many things you can sell for a 100% mark up, but ten times its original value is too much for me. Who are these nutters that are happy to pay £50 for a 12"?? Its not like theres a shortage of good tunes around.

i would say that this isn't a double, and i didn't buy it just to sell on... i bought it cos i liked it at the time and got overexcited, but then soon realised that it had no place in any sets that i play, and that i didn't actually like it that much!

i find it a difficult question :|

I saw DMZ002 for £125 on discogs the other day!

Madness.

Still, if you are really skint, and can get the cash for it, then it's tempting. I mean, if you sell it for a tenner, for the love of the tunes, then chances are the person that buys it will then flog it for 125 anyways, unless you are selling to a friend.

On the other hand, people that are buying up limited runs just to sell them off for £££ are the moral equivalent to ticket touts I reckon.

I have sold a couple of rarities in my time, but all I ever do is whack it on ebay with a 99p starting price and let the market decide. If someone puts a bid in at whatever amount, then that is how much they are willing to part with for it happily. So, theyre happy...im happy (to be honest, its never x-amount of money...its x-amount more records ) The worlds happy!
