FL sequencer doing weird sh*t

I have a small loop in the piano roll and the loop only goes up to number 4 but the player continues to number 5 on the grid playing no sound, wtf?

I have checked and the last note and it does not go over onto the 5th so why does it continue?

I tried deleting all the notes from the piano roll and just doing a standard 4x4 beat and it does the thing still:S

did you record any automation that carries over? usually thats what happens to me and i have to find out what i automated in order to delete it, im not sure of any other easier way..

I thought of that. I have no automation lanes on this track.

Whats the easiest way to find out? damn FL is so retarded when it comes to shit like this.

I think I may move to Cubase. I am goign to give FL a little more time because it is only user error at the end of the day.

use the slicer , or set beats per bar manually in the step sequencer if your gonna be using the pattern alot.

I am doing the beats manually in the piano roll.

I have set the beats to 8 and it still goes past. It does look like there is some automation on something so I need to find what and remove it.

the end of the pattern dude,
go to the playlist - select snap to bar - pick the slicer (the knife in top left corner) and cut off the part you dont want, simple as that.

also i should add if you do it this way and want to keep it cut when placing it out in the playlist select your cut pattern and copy/paste it in instead of clicking it out

nono sorry you misunderstood me. The pattern is only drawn in for say 4 bars but it plays to the end of the 5th bar even tho there is nothing drawn there.

So after the 4th bar I have a bar of silence till it restarts!

Does one of the beats tail past the end of the fourth beat/bar? That would pull it onto a fifth beat/bar, in which case cut it off, or just shorten the tail of the clip in the clips section to suit.

as I already said above, nope.

I even cleared the piano roll and then did the automatic enter 4x4 beat and it still does the same thing.

There is nothing to cut tho, it is playing what I want but just goes on an extra bar of nothing.

I will check the automation when I get home.
