Popping Video To Dubstep.

Post by mrfantastic » Sun Mar 01, 2009 7:21 pm

Hey im new to the forums, but thought id share what a beautiful music dubstep is for popping.

im from la, been popping for about 6 years, and about 2 years ago dubstep entered my life. dubstep had a huge influence on where my style ended up and might help mold the future for our dance. about a month ago, i threw a competition, playing dubstep, glitch hop and electro (instead of the usual boring ass same selection of 30 funk songs that we all dance to everydamn time) and it actually made a huge impact on the scene. just letting you guys know your doing more than just making music.

heres me last night getting down to some 6blocc.

DUUUDE!!!

Pop-locking, liquid, etc, are so awesome with Dubstep.

I've seen videos of you before, and was like "damn, this guy needs to get more dubstep" ^^. These videos are making me cry! You're incredible.

Let me tell you that you're one of the two dancers I respect the most, and that I envy you for your skills.

I played some dubstep to my popper friends during a session. They told me to that techno shit off and went back to playing electro and funk.

That tune is called Numbers, it's a Kraftwerk remix. Came out on Lo Dubs a good while back. Sick tune. The other side is amazing too.
