Microphone questions

Post by ohmydays » Mon Mar 02, 2009 1:30 pm

I doubt my Mic will get much use anyway, but i have some pretty standard questions, but having just started i don't know the answers . . .

I know as a general rule i should steer clear of behringer but their XM8500 is very cheap and has some great reviews.

Obviously i would like a Shure at some point in the future, but for under £20 i am considering this Behringer to keep me going?!

Also probably a dumb question but will the output have a normal 6.5mm jack that i can just put into my mixer.

Thanks for your help.

a very good low price mic is the Shure 8900 W
dynamic cardioid microphone

50-15.000 Hz frequency range
-52 dBV/Pa* at 1 kHz *1Pa=94 dB SPL sensitivity
600 Ohm impedance

xlr -1/8" (3.5mm) + 1/4" (6.3mm) adapter included

sry for my rusty english, it is not my native language
