Blinded by the lights (Nero remix) - Offical thread

Post by nero - dan » Thu Mar 12, 2009 1:26 pm

Hi guys, I know there's already 4 or so threads on this but I thought one more wouldn't hurt. I just wanted to fill people in about what's going on with this tune.

Firstly thanks to Skream, Rusko and Chase and Status for the massive support on this one. Secondly big up to pr extrodinaordinaire Leo Greenslade for his part in getting this song out there.

Right...Mike Skinner has said on his twitter page that he's really liking the remix and he knows its by us, which is a good start. We've also had one of the members of The Streets' production team contact us about it.
However, still no word from 679 Recordings. We're hoping with Annie Mac and Zane Lowe giving it the play they are at the moment that 679 will get in touch. Otherwise we'll try and apply for sample clearance and sort out putting it out ourselves.

If 679 dont put it out and refuse us sample clearance, it will unfortunately most likely never see the light of day.

Cheers all

Good to get some news on this.

Great remix. It took the roof off during Skream's set at DMZ on Saturday.
Hit that long lunar note and let it float ...

Now this is only an idea, I mean beat me up for even saying it but im sure everyone else will be thinking it.

If you cant get the sample cleared could you not give it out as a freebie... :?: Would be rude not to really, even as a limited 320 giveaway buisness.... A competition.(If this does happen i want one just for thinking of the idea Patent pending)
