Baby D - Let me be your Fantasy (Rob Sparx Rmx)

Post by rob sparx » Tue Mar 17, 2009 9:30 am

New tune on my page:

Booty of the old Baby D classic, not to be confused with that Mabeye P rinseout that came out a month or 2 ago this one does the original justice!

Thx mate! Lets not even get started on the Formation sound system what a crock of shit that was in both rooms! For a lineup like that the least u can do is make sure the sound system is set up properly some serious redlining going on.

Question from a non-music geek... What's redlining?

lol I mean the sound was distorting as at some point in the audio chain there was too much volume.

lol can't please everyone especially when theres a wobble involved! You might like the A-Side though its a sort of deep garagey bootleg of Masters @ Work - 2 be in Love - tunes on my myspace page.

I'm really liking it, along with most Rob Sparx releases at the moment. I'm not usually the biggest fan of the wobble but there seems to be a certain reserved vibe about your tunes, as opposed to making all out skankers. Nice one!

Yea your probably right if your talking about how it sounds alone, don't be fooled though this track was a right mission took me 3-4 days to get the basses sounding right whilst (I could be wrong but) that other bootleg sounds more like it was knocked up in a few hours. Just cos a tunes got wobble dont mean its easy to produce by any means.

I don't mean any disrespect to the producer I'm into plenty of their other tunes was just a tiny bit annoyed about their 12 hitting the shops right before this one was originally gonna get released its not good when you've been slaving away at something for days being told that actually you've got to put it on ice and write something else to get your next cheque!

by the numbers wobble dubstep remix for me. not bad by any means, but it is what it is. i actually think the original tune is a bit of a classic, despite idiots moaning because it went commercial. everything they produced after that was shit though.

if the dark stranger gets a dubstep remix, i'm going to shoot myself in both ears.

Yea its no epic symphony but I thought there was a bit more music in there than your average tone deaf spaz out. I went through a few years of being real anti wobble but I started using the harder basses again last year after I heard Bar9s Soundbwoy and Shaolin style - those tunes certainly left an impression I thought they were much more aggressive than clowny. Unfortunately its usually the tunes that inspire real hatred that sell shitloads! I've got deep tunes on here that get loads of praise but don't sell a fraction of what jumpup sells its annoying but like Reso says if u can't beat em join em!
