The man plays Bass Guitar LIVE over his tunes as if they weren't MASSIVE enough...
while further editing and glitching them to taste!
He opened with Woo Boost, and it. went. off. The sound from that on a proper sound system was... well... Alive. It fills the room and skanks about BY ITSELF. The crowd is immaterial--that music was at its OWN PARTY.
MASSIVE.

Apparently both.
i.e. One tune he'll fiddle with knobs whilst doing drops/edits--yet another which *I guess* is just a drum track, he'll rock out n play the bassliness...

That Rusko clip at the Apple Store is actually pretty rad. I would have liked to see that set with the live re-edits & bass playing. I skipped his set when he played here because I wasn't interested in seeing his normal stuff. Had he played this I would have been there in a minute. That MC is actually pretty good too, and I normally hate MC's

When he played here he came by himself and played Serato. I thought I would have preferred that actually but he didn't have hardly anything new. His mixing was so/so too. We definitely missed out.
There is big bZ on the decks with Rusko getting his shit sorted out.

I saw Squarepusher live at Glade 2006, according to tons of people I know who were there (including myself) Squarepusher was by far the best act of the whole festival, amazing stuff!

DAR010 - Santogold - Shove It (remix) 12"
SET003 - Bob Marley - Is This Love (remix) 12"
