I'd have to recommend 'The Corner'. A little mini series (six episodes I think), again based in Baltimore. Very moving stuff.Capo Ultra wrote:Generation Kill is the next logical step from the Wire.

The Wire is better then crack!
As the Times recently put: "Be warned, episodes are like Pringles, and perfectly reasonable people have been debilitated into muttering “just one more” as they rock back and forth in their pyjamas after an extended Baltimore-fest. "

If you want to continue on the same lines as The Wire, check out 'The Corner', based in Baltimore again, but alot more gritty dark and more like a documentary style of filming. Also has a lot of the same cast as The Wire.
The Sopranos HBO baby yeh
