i knew about warp records, rephlex and all the classic idm stuff ages ago, but then only really got into the dancey side of underground electronic music when i started going to free parties.. so it's word of mouth at first, but then now i just waste away on the internet a lot of the time searching for new shit.

LOL, I was searching for this clip about Mary Anne Hobbs speaking on Amon Tobin...ended up getting distracted and reading all sorts of stuff about her (for obvious reasons)....then I noticed the Dubstep Warz business. Pique the curiosity...and the rest is history!

been a fan of planet µ and other idm/drill n bass since the mid 90's, and an even bigger fan of miami bass since I was a kid in the 80's. It was a natural progression.

was raving about how awesome Venetian Snares is, and asked a mate at school what he listened to. Said "Dubstep, man. You should come to a show this weekend". The show was N-Type in Sydney...the rest is history

"If your tune sounds like a bunch of power tools at a Home Depot – that’s not bass, that’s not sub, therefore, it’s not dubstep!"
