WHY IS DUBSTEP SO UNBELIEVABLY SICK?

So why is dubstep so amazingly sick?

All we have really, is bass-kick, snare, bass-kick snare...
all accompanied by a (hopefully clever) bassline.

Is it because of its tempo?

Is it because of its numerous and unlimited influences?

Is it because it's so god damned fresh?

Why is it that dubstep possesses that certain "je ne sais quoi?"

I personally believe ( like Gestalt )

I love the shit. Nothing else even comes close.

The music was amazing even before I stumbled upon it. I just happened to be privy to the evolution of dance music. it evolved into a weird hybrid of everything... garage, house, breaks, drum and bass, electro, hip hop and even reggae... all these genres had engaged in a sloppy, impatient orgy to create a mutant, illegitimate child...Dubstep.
