Gravious - Futurist EP - 11th May 09(Highpoint Lowlife 036)

Post by gravious » Tue Apr 28, 2009 12:39 pm

Hello all,

It's been a while, but I'm afraid it's time for some forum bashing promotional business.

Gravious - Futurist EP (Highpoint Lowlife 036) - Release date: Monday 11th May

The marvellous folk at the genre defying Highpoint Lowlife label are putting out a digital EP of 3 Gravious tracks, as follows:

Check out clips on my myspace: http://www.myspace.com/gravious

1. Jupiter Jazz
Jazz swing hi-hats rattle along over some interplanetary electronics and some warm sub, with the occassional switch-up into rhodes chords.

2. Vultures
A mainstay of my live sets over the last year, Vultures is finally seeing the light of day! Swung half-step and sinister synths roll into atmospheric african vocals before breaking into halting 2-step rhythms and bashy bass.

3. World of Tomorrow
Lush pads and cycling sub-bass underpin a whole swathe of Sci-Fi noises, before solidifying into a solid stuttered beat and some tuneful grimey overtones!

Downloads available from the Highpoint Lowlife website;
http://highpointlowlife.com

...as well as iTunes, Amazon, Boomkat etc.

I'll update this thread with any new details as/when they arise.

In the meantime, all opinions, denigrations, etc welcome!

Cheers

Ali Gravious

Yeah, I know...

Was originally planned to be vinyl - but it wasn't gonna work in the end, and we just wanted to get it out there.

Will be available in high bitrate MP3 and FLAC lossless at least.

Also, this ep will only set you back 3 quid :D

And don't worry, some more Grav vinyl on the way soon.
