producers house, babalou 1st May

Post by rachel » Tue May 05, 2009 11:33 am

did anyone else (except boomnoise) check this? brilliant night - cooly g and whoever was on before her - smashed it. cooly g, as well as a serious producer/vocalist, is also a serious, serious dj.

nuff (surprising) love for the bongo guy - levels just right - no love at all for the horn guy (or the blatant £10 before 12 despite what it says on the flyers - no big complaint there tho as £10 all gd for that kind of line-up/night). very nice vibe crowd-wise too. all in all a winner

yeah it was fun.

good to see you there rachel.

that horn guy tho - just you mentioning him brought back that one haunting riff! seriously needs to learn about variation / dropping back.

three searches before getting in was a record too.

line up for part three looks interesting (and different).

That looks quality, I am there. Gonna start polishing my shoes now.
I saw Brackles at Bunch of cuts and he killed it, the others on the line up look standardly big too.
