audio engine is great.

imroved complex warping.

much improved warping.

the rest i haven't had a chance to delve into yet, sadly--- really looking foward to bugging out w/ the looper plugin.

How much is it to upgrade from Live 7 to 8? Would you say it's worth upgrading? Also has anybody purchased any of the extra instruments (Operator etc..) Would you recommend any of those?

Still haven't copped this (I'm on 7)... should have it in a few weeks. Burfday present to myself, I think...

I don't think I have even really used the new features yet. Just made one tune on it. I haven't even got all my vst loaded up yet. I have not had a single problem though I will tell you that. I don't know if they improved the engine or now but my new tune sounds fucking fantastic! I don't know if it's me or the program but it sounds good.

Groups definitely tidy stuff up big time!

New Operator is ACE!

Haven't tried the groove feature yet.

new groove function is damn hot. It was the exact thing i was aching for in 7. just for this feature alone i would recommend making the move to 8.

best groove quantization engine compared to all other hardware and daw. that was the most missing feature in 7, now the only thing which is nicer about logic is the inbuilt dynamics and effects.
