Post by cosmic revenge » Thu May 14, 2009 10:11 pm

I've been listening to cattle decapitation, pig destroyer, agoraphobic nosebleed, suffocation, and some old cannibal corpse recently. this shit is heavy as fuck. Any fans on here?

Death, Grind, Black......99% of it is pish in my opinion. Well actually 100% when it comes to Black Metal!

Brutal Truth kicked ass. Especially their album "Sounds Of The Animal Kingdom" which even featured a Sun Ra cover??!! All of their other albums were.....well.....brutal too!

The first Venomous Concept album "Retro Active Abortion" is pretty cool too. That features Buzzo from the Melvins on guitar as well as Brutal Truth's Kevin the Marlboro Man Sharp on vocals and a few of the core Napalm Death members.

Meathook Seed's "Embedded" album is devastating stuff. That featured members of Napalm and Obituary. This album really was fantastic actually. Meathook then released another album with completely different members and it was complete Nu-Metal pish??!!

Godflesh were labeled Grind for some strange reason? If this was so, Godflesh were the greatest Grindcore band known to mankind!

Oh ok....make that 101% 8)

I do admire Black Metal for the hilarious factor though.

That was terrible. How people can get enjoyment out of that pish is beyond me? To each his own I guess.

Gutted for you. That's one of the deepest and most depressing tracks I've ever heard. That track is so cutting when you feel like there's no hope in life

I suppose you sound like you have a fairly good outlook on life which would explain it

I suppose I do actually??? About the most bonkers I like my music is Brutal Truth.

In my younger days I used to be into Sadistik Exekution, Blood Duster & that type of stuff.

Nowadays I get my "deep depressing" stuff from Swans.

Don't get me wrong though my mate and I are big fans of catching live Black Metal shows. It doesn't come any more entertaining then that.

Hey Godflesh Fiend check out this New Zealand band

http://nz.myspace.com/creepingcrew

Black Metal with groove influence.

The bassist/vocalist also has a stoner rock band and the influence obviously bleeds through.
