‘MashedUK’ presents ‘Dubscover’ @ ‘Gramaphone’, a place where people can unwrap and discover new talent in dubstep.

‘Dubscover’ involves no pressure on your pockets, by offering FREE entry all night! We all know about the current economic climate, so, we believe that FREE nights are a good option for you! Also, for the first lucky 25 people through the door there will be a free shooter waiting for you, and there will be more free drinks, sweets and freebies throughout the night.

Many events primarily focus on established artists; instead, we concentrate on fresh undiscovered artists. Our primary objective is to showcase new talent to different promoters, record labels, managers, agents and most importantly you, the general public.

We are finding fresh talented artists who are under the radar, and creating a space where you can discover them. At every event each artist has 1 hour to perform, and a further 15 minutes to help you to decide who is the best! All you have to do is scream and shout for your favourite artist!!!

The night will be kicking off at 8pm downstairs; however, if you want to grab something to eat there is a brilliant Thai restaurant upstairs that serves food all day till 10pm.

The sound system is big, fat, heavy and ready for some low frequencies!

£2 for a Stella bottle before 11pm, and £3.10 on all pints, all night.

Closest tube is Aldgate East and Liverpool Street...

+ Sick Rebel - 'Electro Dubstep Bassline Pressure'
http://www.myspace.com/sickrebeldubstep

The guy behind Sick Rebel is an artist who has been writing music for close to 10 years now, cycling through styles from his original UK garage roots, through drum n bass, breaks, electro and house, full circle back to the UK dubstep scene. His laptop sets combine all of his latest productions along with some of those bassline classics that you just can't do without.

With his second single on Blood Tribe Records already out, performances at Glade and other festivals, and his first dubstep album out later in the year, 2009 is set to be a big one for London producer Sick Rebel.

Wicked night. Sound system in Gramaphone was lovely. The Boog-A-Loo Crew wow fuckin' great set - prolly one of the best sets I've heard this year. Big up Crisis too - great set too. Again a wicked night.
