just wondering if there's any difference between this and the original, other than the vocals at the beginning

its just pokes saying "mary anne hobbs" and a bunch of other ting on the vip. original version has no vocals. the intro is a bit different too i think.

I once read in an Interview with MAH (?) that Mud was produced exclusively for the Dubstep Warz Radio Show in 2006. The night before to be exact. I think the 'VIP'-Version on Warrior Dubz is just a sentimental tribiute to this moment, because it's the same version aired on that show and made everyone :o :o

Can someone link to that interview, I don't know where I found it .. ?

i suspected that as well, though it's so subtle that it's easy to miss.

and yes mud vip is the warrior dubs exclusive, just got the lp yesterday 8)

could be considered stupid, but i think it was a worthy investment... about $30 US, but then had to get it shipped over to NZ

i paid about the same but shipping to uk, well worth the money, warrior dubs has a stupidly brilliant range of tunes

this was one of the tunes that completely confirmed that this music was gonna be a pretty dominant part of my life,

i sware the percussion is a bit better on the vip - crisper sounding, better mixdown - and also some of the wierd little bird samples are on different parts of the tune. i guess if it was made the night before then it dosent suprise me that he tidied it up a bit for the VIP

The original is one of the pinnacles of dubstep as far as I'm concerned. I miss that sound.
