name that tune

Post by fseq » Sat Dec 31, 2005 1:17 am

i've heard it dozens of time during the year, most recently towards the end of hatcha/skream/mala on rinse on wednesday night (c. 10.45pm gmt). very simple and sparse dubstep track brought to life by an insanely catchy and ultra-slow descending melody that sounds like it was hammered out live on a piano. someone must know what it is.

thanks.

no audio clip i'm afraid. wednesday's rinse fm session doesn't seem to have been archived anywhere yet so i guess i'll have to wait for the id.

the fact that it was spun by hatcha now means that i probably won't be able to actually buy myself a copy until sometime late-2007 in any case.

i haven't heard the set you mention, but from your description i'd say it's basstrap by skream (which is in skream's aug 05 mix)
