Word! I've heard Buffalo is poppin off wth dubstep but I live in the Roc so I've been looking for local events. I did see Bone-Loc and Dubby Kong at Jungle Mania about a month ago, they were pretty sick and I've heard Audiowright (also very good) but haven't seen em live. I wil be at the NuRoc Event though, BeTTa Believe THAT!

rochester is one of the best dnb cities in the country, even the average junglist here has as a very high dnb iq. the big names that come here gain alot of respect for our scene when they see how we get down, we are even referred to as "the clan" by some of these types. dubstep could easily blow up like dnb did here around 2000, but there havent been any offficial dubstep shows in rochester yet. ive been thinkin about schemin on somethin, some dnb and dubstep on wisound (mmm 20hz) to ease the locals into the sound will probably be comin up in the next month or two here.

Bone Loc - I had no idea ROC city was a DnB hot spot! Thats tight! I missed out on some of that! I'm a rochester native, but lived in california for a few years and just came back about 1 or 2 months ago.

Dubstep and DnB are some what similar to, really its just that dubby WOMP and a litttle bit slower that makes the difference in my opinion. Although "Dubstep" really started as a variation of Dub, Garage, and 2-Step from my understanding.
