it was a myspace exclusive that came out 2 days or the day before the album was released everywhere else. if you got it through here, it was $3.99. After and anywhere else, its standard price.

Heheheh and people say myspace is lame.... :D

Considering?

I'm curious. I'm a Mos Def hater, and I'm considering checking this album out.

^^^ dont bother, of course the oh no and madlib tracks are good but the rest are the same trash mos def has been making with his whiny annoying voice and awful attempts at singing.

Yeah one of the tracks I heard was from the Beat Konducta in India series. The albums still better than his previous efforts which is what i expected.

In all seriousness, I'm surprised how much I like even the non Madlib stuff from this album.

Huh, who knew Mos Def had a good record in him?

It's all about the Blackstar gear with Talib, better than his solo stuff IMO... 10 years ago you couldnt go anywhere without hearing that album on the PA

his old stuff is fucking dope...
people shouldn't dismiss the guy just cus he's got jokes.

i think if you ever took his singing seriously, you missed the point.
just my opinion tho. Mos is one of my old school favorites.
looking forward to hearing this one...
