Just noticed this just came into Piccadilly Records................
La Roux : Quicksand - Inc. Mad Decent Remix / In For The Kill - Skream Remix
Interscope
"Well, in the UK the massive Skream remix of "In For The Kill" might only be available on CD single of rare white label, but in the US it's had a proper release on vinyl!"

i sware there were some bootleg pressing of in for the kill on a few sites?
The tune was a free give away in the first place, the success of this remix proves how good it is. the remix definatly bumped up la roux's profile aswell as skream's ofcourse

skream is the reason that tune is in the top ten. skream's version was all over radio 1 rotations, in the morning and at night. the original version wasn't.

TBH Skream probably makes more on the remix than she does anyway. Interscope more than likely own the rights to those tunes, so she perhaps gets a percentage but it's nothing to write home about for sure.
Could be wrong though and it may be a lot. Interscope will make the most off of it lol.

You know that if it's on that you ain't drawing for no metal.
I know them rap songs got you thinking you're some kind of G.
Well if that's the case, then Que Sera and what will be will be

£7.99 at Piccadilly.
I'm sure I read here that this wasn't going to get an "official" release???
Anyway folk here that wanted it and didn't want to pay £30-£40 can now buy it.

I think it's pretty lame when a 'rare' tune gets a mainstream release from a collectors point of view...
