MEDIUM CANCELLED @ MEDIUM vs SIN CITY *TONIGHT*

Post by mediumbeats » Fri Jun 19, 2009 12:56 pm

It is with deep regret that we have cancelled Medium at the Sin City & Medium event at Cable on Friday 19th June 09. The cancellation was forced upon us by circumstances completely beyond our control. Cable announced that it intended to close down room 2 (the Medium Room) the day before the event was due to take place. We could not come to an agreement with the venue. We are not prepared to undermine our brand and what Medium stands for, so we have withdrawn all involvement rather than deliver a compromise that has been dictated to us. We feel deeply let down and wish to whole heartedly apologise to anyone who was planning on attending to see artists in the Medium room.

Sin City will still go ahead in room one.

Medium (and Sin City and Hyponik) have spent a huge amount of time and effort preparing for this party and are deeply disappointed by its cancellation. We can't apologise enough.

A bunch of cuts have offered Medium residents FD, Tasha & Sigha to play at The Arches tonight - please come and join us.

In the meantime Medium will continue its residency as normal at Plastic People. The next event is on Wednesday 12th August 09. Watch this space for a Medium weekend event...

Thank you for all your support.

Click the "ask us a question" link on this http://www.ticketweb.co.uk/helpdesk.html

Fill in your details and give an explanation of why you want a refund, I linked to this thread as well.

Didn't get any confirmation but I called them up and they confirmed I had been granted a refund.

Good luck! :)
