MashedUK presents Dubscover Launch Party, a place where people can unwrap and discover fresh talent in dubstep, FREE of charge!
To begin with we have Sick Rebel, who has been writing music for close to 10 years now, cycling through styles from his original UK garage roots, through drum n bass, breaks, electro and house, full circle back to the UK dubstep scene. With his second single on Blood Tribe Records already out, performances at Glade and other festivals, and his first dubstep album out later in the year, 2009 is set to be a big one for London producer Sick Rebel.
Next up is Rinse.FM’s well respected Crises. Having grown up in a musical orientated family, Crises feels at home when on Deck 1&2. And with over ten years of mixing under his belt, it shows with his confidence when integrating tracks, in-turn creating a set that reflects a journey of some sort. Catch his Rinse.Fm show Every Monday Lunch 11am-1pm!!!
Also, we have huge support from The Boog-A-Loo Crew! Residents of the excellent Trouble Vision night, The Boog-A-Loo Crew are all about the hype! Big beat business guaranteed for you to get your crunk on. Mash Up!!!! Look out for future releases very soon!!!
Last but not least is Lysergide & Coopz Mucksion. Dubstep DJ/Producer Lysergide hails from Hertfordshire. At the moment he is working on his own productions and is also collaborating with Coopz Mucksion. He will be releasing his debut EP in the next few months on Betamorph Recordings! It is sounding like it should be a blinder! Lysergide’s sound is deep, dark and mysterious…
We are teaming up with various promoters, record labels, agents, managers and companies to showcase our artists to help them gain further establishment, secure more bookings, and even discuss record releases!
At every event each artist has 1 hour to perform, and a further 15-20 minutes to help you to decide who is the best! All you have to do is scream and shout for your favourite artist!!!
The sound system is big, fat, heavy and ready for some low frequencies!
What is even better is that we are offering this all for FREE! Also, there will be FREE drinks, sweets and freebies!!! £2 for a Stella bottle before 11pm, and £3.10 on all pints, all night.
