Every one is out of work at the moment. Bad times.
I haven't been unemployed long enough to be on New Deal, nor do I intend to be!

there are no jobs in the music industry.
You have to make them yourself!
You have a valid point, which is partly what has driven me to make this post. I'm simply putting things out there on the off chance that something comes from it. I currently do freelance graphics, but who knows what else is available or may turn up?!!

I went to Paris in October looking for work. I sent my CV to loads of employers an spec and got a job through that.
I also really struggled to find accommodation whilst I was there, so I decided to blanket email all the members of a particular Parisian Couchsurfing group. Amazingly, someone invited me to stay in their spare room. they kindly allowed me to live rent free for seven weeks! If I hadn't have asked, they wouldn't have been so kind and generous.

I have plenty of my own projects building up, but I still need to find some form of employment to help cover the rent etc. Instead of only searching the jobs ads, why not post my availability too?
Thanks for all those who have taken interest so far! Examples of my graphics and photography upon request (& in the pics section of my Myspace profile linked in my forum signature)
