Nice mix... endless highlights. You picked a few of my favourites.... especially The Pop Group (one of the best singles ever made imo, still play this on 12" .... the b side 3'38" is superb too and even has a futuristic dub feel to it... 30 years later)....

Pere Ubu... the Fall... good stuff.

Eops wrote:Cool - this mix is going to help me as I have been toying with buying more Throbbing gristle and 23skidoo - I got a couple bits but they have reissued loads of stuff and I reckon this mix may point the way

Throbbing gristle are bonkers with a hat on :D
for 23 Skidoo get Seven Songs :)

TG are not so easy
those tracks come from Second Annual Report
but other people prefer later stuff such as 20 Jazz Funk Greats

23 skidoo was especially good - I think I actually prefer 2nd annual report from TG as it is more bona fide mad - I mean you dont play TG to woo a pop audience do you?

It turns out my old boss went to school with Genesis P-Orridge - apparently he was quite dull and boring at school!

Cheers for the recommendations anyways!
nice one :)

I prefer 2AR too
well actually I prefer TG24, but that's a bit of an investment
