Digital E.P question

Post by mechabot 01 » Wed Jul 08, 2009 2:57 pm

Do you prefer a digital e.p to be of similar style or exploring different avenues with each track?

If it's cohesive overall...it can explore.

Does't it become a bit dull if all tracks sound the same?

It's good to have something holding the tracks together....

tbh on the rare occasions I get asked for advice I recommend people work towards putting an EP together rather than just writing individual tracks to begin with .... it seems to come together quite naturally then.

but please ....gimme some crazy shit on the last track.... last track is playtime :)

Here's a ?: How many songs do yall think should go on an EP?

I hear between 4-10. But I don't know if there is any real requirement.
