This was really pretty awful. Had to queue in the rain to get into Paradiso to see them play an incoherent set, not lacking in being eclectic, but clearly lacking in good taste and sobreity. Don't expect to need to drop a pill to enjoy a dubstep night.

They must've had about 40-50 rewinds in their set. Rewinds are a complete nonsense anyway, but in the middle of a terrible tune (for the third time sometimes), it's really really is taking the biscuit. Additionally, if I want to go see DnB, I'll go and see some decent DnB DJs, not them. I suppose the same now goes for dubstep.

Finally, they are clearly enjoying playing with their (I assume new) sampler. As brilliant as it is to hear 4 bars of a track looped, it really pays off to learn how to use it properly before playing out in public. If you sample 4 bars, cut to 2 bars and then 1 bar in order to create a sort of build, you need to be able to work your way back to a track. Listening to a sample of a hi-hat repeating for a minute on it's own is tedious, even if it at least resembles a consistency their set lacked badly. It's even worse when said sample of hi-hat is played for longer than some really good tracks. I.e. Emalkay ' Heroics '.

The guy that was on after blew them away, without really doing the same to me. Says everything.
