moved from Leeds to London

Post by kidnothing » Fri Jul 10, 2009 6:34 pm

I lived in Leeds for the past 5 years and thats where I got into dubstep and hip hop, and I loved it, used to go sub dub, exodus, faversham, new bohemia nights etc, but now I've moved to London to go uni and I just dunno where to begin. I've only been here a month or so made a few mates on my course in London, but theyre more into indie/electro an all that jazz. We went to a night at some club in central the other night that said it played dubstep/hiphop, we walked in an they were playing usher or something!

Obviously I'll get to know good nights as I get to know the city but just wanting some advice as to some places which are gonna be reliable to go to for a good night out of dubstep or hip hop. That isn't full of essex girls grinding to 50 cent.
Cheers

East London is where the majority of nights are held. Just check the events section. If you wanna live in London then East is the place to be.

That will give u pretty much all the nights you need & more.

FWD>> & DMZ are your staple diet of dubstep tbh. If your about you should try & get down to matter on the 31st july for Rinse's 15th Bday.

Have fun
