ATTN:Producers/Digital labels! CHEAP MASTERING SERVICE!

Post by morphesis » Mon Jul 13, 2009 9:35 pm

WEBSITE NOW AVAILABLE !

http://www.tekmastering.co.uk

I've started a MASTERING service for digital labels and any producers out there that don't master themselves , my rates are very competitive and results are quality and should make your tracks stand up to any other big tunes on the scene.

Already have couple of clients and their responses from my work are really positive and they are continuing to use my mastering services.

Basically this is how its done :

You [the digital label / producer] send me your un-mastered track in full quality wav. format , and if requested I can send you some 'before & after' clips.....and if your happy with what I've done you then send me £10 [per track] into my paypal account [teksteppa@hotmail.com] and when I receive the £10 I will send you a copy of the full mastered version.

For examples check out any tunes on my myspace which are all mastered by myself - http://www.myspace.com/teksteppa

ALL STYLES WELCOME !

If anyone has any questions , don't hesitate to get in touch :

Email - teksteppa@hotmail.com

NEWS JUST IN !

The tracks I have mastered for FLAT BEAT MUSIC just score 9/10 in a iDJ pre-release preview........the tracks called "2-Bit Thugs - Drama"

sweet!

maybe you should make a virb page for your mastering service though ... or do a before/after wav sample of a tune u dont mind giving out ...cuz myspace rly compresses their audio and that makes it hard to hear the full mastering quality ...
=^^=

if your balancing skills are ok then you should be fine to just send an export of the whole track un-mastered.....but if you would like me to do the balancing and mix-down of drums / bass / vox etc etc then it gonna cost alot more.....

Thankyou sir , I wish you luck also.....

but do you realise , I offer the customer a 'FREE' preview also ? of their own track!.....

When they send me something to be mastered , I send them a preview clip (mastered) back to them for FREE!....and if they approve they then pay £10 per track for the full mastered track

I notice your rates are alot higher than mine and I can't be doing to bad as several clients are continuing to use my mastering services and one of the tunes I mastered scored a 9/10 in a review for iDJ magazine !

Also the fact that I produce Dubstep / Drum and Bass / Breaks etc etc myself , also helps with the mastering , cos I know what the tracks 'need' to sound good......

Watch out for a website for my services coming very soon !

anyway , all the best !

Practically everyone does free previews, it's not really a big deal to be honest.

true !

But I notice my rates are very competitive to alot of mastering companies out there !.....and from my experience I can do just as good a job ! but for half the price......something which should be really appealing in these times of economic melt down !

no disrespect intended, but couldn't Terekete make a sticky thread for Mastering Services?
it'd save on self-whoring threads, and could actually turn into a useful resource if the MEs go into friendly competition by putting on ocassional offers, rather than trying to put on CAPS LOCK OFFERS, out-bump eachother's threads and debate who's compressor is better in bed

no diss to any of you at all...i'm just thinking it could actually be useful to have a sticky explaining exactly what mastering is and why you might need it.
include a list of mastering engineers, links to their site, potential prices, client list, gear list, geographical location, special offers, etc etc

most people that are going to get stuff mastered already have people they like to work with. for new customers, a bit of choice and comparison might be nice.
