Controlling Live with a Xbox pad

Post by iamadam » Mon Jul 13, 2009 11:16 pm

Million points for someone who can point out an old thread or point me in the right direction. I've got the drivers from microsoft and had a quick scan around the web. Max msp pops up quite a bit but this forum is the Dogs balls for getting answers and not to mention the odd alpaca.

They say this would be the best for windows

Key features of MJoy:
Supports two joysticks (up to 6 axis and 6 buttons for each one)

Translate joystick movements into MIDI Continuous Controller messages

Translate buttons pressure into MIDI Note on/off messages

Enhanced graphical interface with presets manager

Has a MIDI Thru option

Multithreaded design and low response time

this info many came from http://www.djtechtools.com

For those who are wondering what HID is then check this page

and you can pick up the xbox controller drivers from here

http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/downl ... P1&lang=en
