Most massive drop?

Post by frederikfenger » Fri Jul 17, 2009 10:10 pm

it's simple, which song has the absolute most massive drop?

My favorite is Nero - This way because of the huge build-up and the perfect timed vocal.

I'll have to go with Nero as well, but 'Blinded By The Lights Remix' instead. The drop just makes me URGHHHHHH smacked in the face by a wall full of bass.

Although I know many will disagree. Infact, I struggle to think of any named songs with huge drops, most of my top played Dubstep dont have bassy drops it seems, but on many nights I recall having my face teared off by massive bass.

Ok the most effective devastating drop for me is on something I just recommended on another post, Smell Triggered Memory by Escapee Planes. Its starts of real tender, downcast and epic with a choir, and when that the razor sharp bassline comes in it doesn't come across as contrived at all (which is often the problem with this kind of thing...)
