Black Canvas' debut LP is out now instore and via download.

While more dub than dubstep, fans of pressure drop, massive attack, dub pistols, or even fat freddy's will best be checking this one out.

Black Canvas is Mr. Melody and Rider Shafique working alongside Chubby J from Pressure Drop. The album incorporates the roots of reggae and stems of dubstep, hip hop, breaks and drum n bass to create a multi-genre masterpiece that comes straight from the heart.

Breaks fans will know Mr Melody from his vocal work on Freestylers' 'Warrior Charge' and appearances on Adam Freeland's 'Now & Them' album. Shafique meanwhile had his debut 12” ‘Rider (Rhyme Provider’)’ released on One Eye Records and has collaborated on recordings with Pressure Drop, Black Grass, Chase & Status and Al Haca amongst others.

Collaborations on “Rise” include Chase & Status who lend their trademark drum n bass talents on “Broken Dreams” whilst breakbeat wonder boy Ed Solo gets down and dirty with his co-production of “We Fear Not”.
