Dubstep terrace Global Gathering July 2009

Just got back from Global, needless to say the Dubstep terrace was my main reason for going!!

Hatcha and N-Type fucking blew me away esp N-Type. Two of my mates have become dubstep converts just from seeing that set.

Bit disappointed with the Rusko live thing tho..... shouldnt have been top of the bill imo. Oh and Mary anne Hobbs was a little quiet for me but she is still fuckin ace and not to mention hot. When she dropped Six Degrees by KM I literally shit myself.

Also the general vibe was a lot better than any of the other stages tho and the crowd was really mixed which was good to see, so all in all a splendid evening had by all!

Anyone else catch it?

Yea man i was there for the ntype an hatcha set an it was nuts man! the best set of global that i can remember, probly the only 1 i can remember. I recorded quite a few bits of the set i but ent checked them yet. i went back when rusko was on but i was a bit to out if it so i didnt stay long and cant really remember much of it but i do remember the crowd going prety mad for it, but like u said they were all cool but i went in the random concept tent for a bit and there were fights kicking off every where an i think some1 got stabbed in there aswell

Yeah was fat but only really saw Caspa as I was at Chase & Status and Plump DJs for a bit. I caught 10 minutes of Rusko and went somewhere else. Seen Rusko live before and he murked it at Detonate Indoor Fest, but not great this time, he said he's giving up all live stuff now.

Going to see Hatcha and N-type at Junction in Cambs so should make up for it, plus might go Area on 30th bank hol.

ahhhh man, n type and hatcha absolutely killed it! but for me the biggest dubstep set was caspa, excellent timing for such a good live set after his essential mix which is also amaaaaazing! he is most definately making up for his not so awesome album. but rusko's set at global... oh dear. i've heard hes not doing live sets again, is this true? i wouldnt

Yeah, I spoke to him after with my mate, he was well fucked off!! He put it all over his Twitter aswell. Saw him at Eden in Ibiza too, tore the place down, along with Chase & Status.
