God I hate all this shite, my favourite type of dubstep IS DUBSTEP. Peeps need to broaden horizons and not go for either chilled stuff or heavy stuff, this debate is gettin tedious now. Why not go for a bit of everything.

bit subjective / vague these terms

What some people consider 'dark' I consider 'dirty'. Also, won'r a 'dark' tune be either 'chilled' or 'heavy' for example? Not trying to be annoying, just my 2p

I'm not going to respond to the poll because I don't understand what any of the choices mean.

Good music has a bit more to it than just "dark" or "chilled".

If you want to listen to something really beautiful with origins in the dubstep scene check out Scuba's album 'A Mutual Antipathy' or anything by Burial.

But it depends what you've already heard / got really. You've got to follow your nose.

Categories are pretty poor IMO, I clicked chilled/mellow and realised this isn't my favourite type... I like dark chilled stuff, like burial, mala but then again, loving pretty much all of what Joker's putting out at the minute, and then theres the mid range stuff i love like emalkays - when i look at you and noah d's - serious...

Foundation from Breakage. There are several track on there that are totally mellow and amazing.

Check out Higher, Justified, Foundation in particular.

Chilled dub is where its at right now, as much as I love the dankest of dubstep it all started with the mellow stuff and I think people forget that.

This is an old school dubstep tune, and also the first track to come from Crunchy Dub. If you enjoy this, please follow for updates :)
