Okay for real, how the f&$% is this sound made?

Skrillex just keeps on knocking these sounds out, at first I thought it was to do with his collaboration with Trollphace but his sound is staying true. Anyone got any clue on how to make this yet?

I know it's not the most amazing sound but there's something captivating about it!

Probably comb filter-y business like the Burial remix was. I hear a slight delay that sounds like it could come from dimension expander on somewhat large size. I have no idea how to actually make it though.
And yep, it's a really cool sound.

He sampled Zomboy....OH SNAP!!! In all seriousness....kind of... I think he has been rocking Massive a lot lately because of the phase osc trick.
Jeeezus...fk that remix...watch his next vid....dayum son

Off topic, but what is this phase osc trick exactly?

I will try to recreate this, see if it's possible.
EDIT:
Took me 15 minutes:

It has 14 effects in rack and everything moving on Massive, hard one

A lot of sounds right now are coming from phase modding an oscillator in Massive. Prob good ol Labco is a good tut to follow

Nice tut, thanks Banesy (big upped for the link!). Great trick on using a second performer to reach line 2 of the first performer as well... not sure I'll ever use it, but very creative

Thank you and thank you!
For sure does sound like it can be done by phase modding at a high octave and just finding the sweet spot to modulate it! But you guys have to remember that phase mod in massive is essentially just FM! Except you can only use a sine wave as the modulator, so its still entirely possible he's doing this with fm8 or even operator.
The basis of the sound isnt hard to recreate its just this texture he seems to have to all his stuff lately that confuses me, i'm sure its probably something simple that i'm overlooking but everything he's doing lately seems to be going through the same FX including his growls and i just cannot for the life of me figure out what it is, i originally thought simple delay or something like that, maybe abletons corpus, but all my attempts failed

I was able to create a very similar result with serum.
I used a sin triangle for OSC A, detuned two octaves, with FM from osc B at about 11 o'clock.
OSC B with the default oscillator, tuned up one octave, volume at lowest.
I used a comb filter on OSC A, with drive up to max, cutoff slightly above 9 o'clock.
I created a custom shaped LFO (shown below), 1/8th timing, with trigger setting, it modifies the level of OSC A (from nothing to maximum), and comb filter from where it is set, to all the way to the left.
Then adjust reverb/etc to your personal preference.
The result I got is here.

Note: noise osc in the picture doesn't really do anything, just a minor test for curiosity (doesnt matter)
Cheers.

He layers a sine wave, sine formant, or square either on the same note 1 octave up, or +14 semitones, or +27 semitones. Kinda sounds like a Bubbly highpitch sine wave if you do it right but remember its
hidden in the back of the main wobble. You need to listen to ALL the sounds that Zomboy and Skrillex are pumping out. Including Zomboys growls. They have the tonal sinewave in it. It gives the Growl a more noticeable note. But it can be are to hear.
