Soundcloud
Slower, drudgy or whatever one, still leaning on the percussion though!
(Phased entity did a fecking awesome remix of this! Its about somewhere, but I definitely played it on my most recent show. Theres a tracklisted recording up on the archive!)
Soundcloud
And the first tune I was ever happy with finishing! Want to try making a tune out of just that second bit though, I quite likes it...

Lovin' the vibes!
Frebentos and wiggle baron your tunes are sick....
I can't get my soundcloud to accept uploads or I would let you listen first
But in this tune i sampled Martin Luther King Jr.'s "I Have A Dream" speech. Hope you guys like it
Not my usual taste in Dubstep, but I definatly appriciate what you have done here, it works well and the production elements are fantastic, especialy the drum build up after the first drop! Big ups...
sounds a bit ruff, not mixed very well (what is you mixing setup, monitors etc.)
The idea and vibe you are trying to get is very nice, the idea is very sweet.
I advice you to dig some some better drumsamples, and learn to use compression, and some other basic mixing stuff.
Really love the idea sound and the drumpattern is pretty good. Don't start on something else but read up some mixing tips (i could give you a bit of advice if you'd like) but really stick to this, try to polish and mix it up. I think you'll get something very good out of it!
Something really nice and interesting you have there. Very positive vibe i'm getting off it. Has some reaggae/jamican elements and that piano fluit thing (that's what i think it is at least) gives me a bit of a french/Paris/Eiffeltower-dubby vibes.
Mixing is pretty good and i love those hats man, very lively, present in the mix and at the same time very subtle.
This is some quality man!
I'll have a dig through the thread when I've my speakers on later...
Basic mixing is pretty solid. Maybe snare a bit more punch if you want the track to sound ruff and hard at least. That hat is a bit to "pitchy" if you know what i mean. Get some old rusty, crusty sounding hi hat to add a bit more ruffage and texture to your beat maybe? Vibe i'm getting is pretty good. Especially the beginning and that dubieus melody after the second drop are really dark and a bit mysterious. Altho it 'drops' too sudden imo. If i wouldn't have seen the waveforms on soundcloud thingy then i would have been very i think.
Overall very nice

that's fucking sick mate! Very well mixed, nice build up, sweet vibe
If i had to say something then maybe play a bit with the velocity of those hats (the ones coming in at about 0:37), and maybe lower them a bit or use a bit 'ruffer' hats with less highs because now they are a bit too present imo, they attract my attention a bit too much. Drumpattern is sick tho and for me this dubstep. (it's maybe a bit faster tho.. 145, 150 bpm?

Thank you, the bongo's, the shaker, and the Melodica (the piano flute thing you was on about) are recorded, played by me.
Just need a better soundcard for my laptop for recording, i dont think the bongo's have a nice clear sound in it.

^very nice man, home recording for the win
you might just want to get a firewire or usb audio interface, as i (think) it's more handy and convenient.

I know what you mean about the hat, I'm a bit of a "bright" hat addict at the moment I'm afraid. Wen through a phase of them being too weak and washed out, now it's swung the other way.
I wanted that sudden vibe on this. It started off originally as an intro piece for my live set but it sort of grew past that. The sudden drop was meant to work for the intro idea but I kind of like the "surprise" now. I have written a few sweeps for it but they sound very much like an after-thought. Might look at a gentle percussion build instead...
Thanks for the feedback on this, I appreciate it.

I've not been in here for a while and I come back in to give some feedback and stick my new tune up and some of yous have blown me away - Frebentos some of the swooshy subby effects you've got in that tune at the top are sick, sounds just like something from a movie.
Wiggle Baron - I have nothing but good things to say about them tunes you posted up - Every one of them is sick, the percussion flows pure nicely and you've got your own style sitting there nicely.
Ahier - I dont really like much minimal house stuff but I liked yours, I can at least appreciate the production elements of it, the slight pitching up (or was it different notes) of the sub flowed really well. The gated fx could have maybe had a slight bit of delay on them so they werent so rigid in how choppy they were but it sounded like the type of stuff I hear at those type of nights as opposed to someone trying to make the stuff I hear at those type of nights.
The standard of the tunes in here so far has really impressed me I thought it was just going to be the dubs section for people with higher post counts. Well in everyone!
thanks for the comments man, yea was going for that soundtracky vibe.
Will check yer tune when I get home from celebrity hell.

New tune by myself. It's taken me ages to get my creative swing back, so hopefully back into the game now!
